Have you tried behavior modification counseling? That did help my husband some as did switching psychiatrist’s. He’s now taking less medication but it’s more effective and does use his relaxation techniques he learned during the counseling when he’s getting ready to have a panic attack.
Keep trying (with your doctor’s blessings and help) different medications, dosages and combinations. Hubby was diagnosed about 6 years ago and it’s only been in the last two years that he’s made big improvements, mostly due to his current psychiatrist’s influences. Not all of them are the same either…..
Have you tried behavior modification ? The behavior required is generally kept a secret . There is no medication that produces recovery only a way to manage to get by. There is a mechanical system to modify your aura and keep you at the natural point . That is considered priestrcraft and also kept secret. Therapy itself is a means to an end . Some never find the answer when others do in threapy.
Acupuncture and hypnosis definitely won’t help and medication is a crutch. See, http://www.psychconflicts.org, for the truth about psychiatry’s fascination with “Big Pharm.”
Anxiety derives from fear; what you have to do is identify what you are afraid of and face it head on. Once you have done this fear becomes less due to it being familiar or the source removed. Look up “techniques for managing anxiety” in a Yahoo! web search for tips on doing this.
Good Luck!
