How does acupuncture help aniexty?
Does it really help? I have aniexty about sleep, stress, medications etc. Mostly chronic knots in my stomach. I take medications but they only do so much good.
How long does it take to relieve symptoms? Anyone know how to find a really good group to do the procedures? I exercise a lot and it relieves it for a short period…. is acupuncture more long term? Any other suggestions – besides yoga and pilates? I do those too.

acupuncture is very good, so is hypnotherapy.
Acupuncture helps relieve stagnate energy in your body , I would also suggest a massage to help as well and some meditation and deep breathing.
Herbs that can help relieve anxiety include chamomile, kava kava, linden flower, and passionflower. Fennel is particularly good for the knots in your stomach–try taking it as a tea (you can find it at a health food store).
Valerian root is also excellent to help reduce anxiety and promote sleep at night.
If you are anxious during the day, try to limit caffeine in any form. Instead, drink plenty of water and a lot of vegetables. Any sort of exercise will help reduce your anxiety and help you sleep at night–even walking a few miles a day.
