I’ve got a really bad phobia which is hindering on my life at the moment. I’m on anti-anxiety medication but that doesn’t seem to be helping. I’ve read in an article that they are using a medication that was used to treat TB but won’t be available for another 5-7 years does anyone know of any medications that are out there besides anti-anxiety medications used to combat phobias ? I’ve also tried hypnotherapy, CBT, EFT and acupuncture.

Well here is my story. I have been bodybuilding / power lifting for the past 9 1/2 years. For the past year I have been lifting weight really late in the night and have not been getting to much sleep. (lifting heavy and hard). about 1 month ago I had a nervous break down. (due to school, work, the 2nd anniversary of my mothers passing etc.) Went to the doctor everything checked out above positive. Doctor says I am stressed out. He recommends acupuncture, but I have not tried it yet. I have tried massage therapy. and come to find out that I have large knots on my back. I guess my real question is that when my not go away will I be able to function better in the area of stress.

I would like to taper off antidepressants and find a more natural way to treat this depression, along with psychotherapy.

Should I seek assistance from a homeopathic doctor, naturopathic doctor, or get into Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture?
