REIKI ENERGY HEALING
REIKI is on the most ancient healing methods known to man. It originated in Tibet and was reintroduced in the nineteenth century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui.
Reiki is mentioned in 2500-year-old writings in Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language. The Usai system is named after Dr. Usai and it has been passed down to Reiki masters since that time and is now practiced worldwide.
We humans have Universal Life Energy all around us and within us. This life force energy is given to us at birth and we use it up in the business of ordinary daily living. We have to create a daily supply of new energy when we are unable to for a prolonged period, we may become physically or emotionally ill. If our supply of this life force energy is very low and depleted, we suffer from all sorts of physical, emotional and mental disorders.

Many doctors and specialists consider exercise as an important and effective treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome. People with chronic fatigue syndrome are trapped in a downward spiral. They suffer from extreme exhaustion and muscle pains, thus the need to have as much rest as possible. However, having too much rest leads to a sedentary lifestyle which has several detrimental effects to the body. Decreased physical activity leads to muscle wasting and loss of bone mass. But regular exercise can help stop that downward trend and replace it with more positive cycle.
Exercise has a number of benefits. Starting a regular exercise routine leads to increased performance and strengthened muscles. This, in turn results to a more optimistic outlook. Research has also revealed that exercise helps combat anxiety and depression. This may be the result of a combination of the release of endorphins (the body’s natural pain killers) and the sense of fulfillment at being able to improve the body’s functions. Exercise also helps strengthen the cardiovascular system.

If this cool fall weather has you thinking of palm trees, sunny beaches, and moving south, you’re not alone. Everyone feels the effects of fall in one way or another. However, for some, the move from the warmth of summer to the cool, dark days of winter brings with it a form of depression, called Seasonal Affective Disorder, or SAD
People who suffer from SAD feel fine during the warmer months, but suffer from symptoms such as depression, fatigue, lack of motivation, difficulty concentrating, and lethargy during the late fall and winter. Over ten million people in the United States suffer from SAD, two-thirds of which are women. The cause of SAD is unknown, but it is thought by western doctors to be related to a drop in melatonin levels in the brain caused by decreased exposure to sunlight during the winter. Currently, SAD is treated through the use of light therapy, and in some cases, antidepressants.

Today in most western cultures Chinese medicine is considered a “new alternative” medicine. In reality Acupuncture are practiced medical treatments that are over 5,000 years old. Basically, Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles, (sometimes in conjunction with electrical stimulus), on the body’s surface, in order to influence physiological functioning of the body. Chinese medicine has been around since the start of time and is more widely used now than ever before. There are many different systems that are included in Chinese medicine and one of the most significant and one of the most popular relationships of all here is the one between alternative acupuncture and Chinese medicine.
When it comes to alternative acupuncture and Chinese medicine, one of the most important things that you need to know is that you need to understand the actual intent of the therapy itself in order to get the best results. The goal of acupuncture therapy is to promote health and to alleviate pain and suffering. It is the technique of inserting thin needles through the skin at certain specific points on the body in order to control pain and other symptoms.Acupuncture can also be used in conjunction with heat produced by burning specific herbs, this is called Moxibustion. In addition, a non-invasive method of massage therapy, called Acupressure, can also be effective.

Hello, is it true that acupuncture and acupressure really work for almost any issue you may have?? I have a friend who is in need of some help and relief from anxiety and depression. Would any of these options be beneficial to him?? Also, I have tried to look up what acupuncture and acupressure really is but I can’t seem to get a full description. The only thing that keeps popping up is something about opening the channels up. What are they talking about?? Sorry I’m new to this area of things and don’t know. Thank you for any help or advice you may give me. I and my friend will be grateful for any ideas.

I have severe daily anxiety, they will provide herbs and acupuncture for a large amount of money. I’ve had anxiety for 4 years now.
I do not want to take medication, it is too self-harming, and not natural.i’d rather take something natural to cure my anxiety.
Is it worth it to give it a try? I am tired of being anxious everyday, I cant relax for a second, not even when I sleep.
also, is acupuncture hurtful?
If youve tried herbs or acupuncture has it worked for you?

Acupuncture as a career can be a professional health practice you can enjoy for a lifetime. Besides getting licensed you can also be certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Practitioners with this certification can use the title Diplomate of Acupuncture. The professional abbreviation is Dipl.Ac. Acupuncturists learn just how to diagnose the various ailments of a patient and how to treat them using very thin stainless-steel needles inserted into specific points on the surface of the skin. The insertion of the acupuncture needles triggers certain biochemical and physiological reactions in the body and that is what promotes healing.
Acupuncture schools that offer courses in traditional Chinese medicine often include other aspects of traditional medicine, like anatomy, body therapy, massage therapy, and various sciences. You will want to find an acupuncture school that offers small classes. And you want to opt for a school whose program emphasizes courses in traditional Chinese medicine; acupuncture is just one part of traditional Chinese medicine.
